The Sieve Shaker is powered by an electromagnetic drive which has no rotating parts to wear making it maintenance free and extremely quiet in operation. The vibratory action produced by the power unit moves the sample over the sieve in a unique way producing faster more effi cient sieving, while the rapid vertical movements also help keep the apertures from pegging. The digital controller is used to set both the process time and amplitude setting while a further control enables the vibration to run continuously or intermittently. Accepts up to eight 200 mm/8 inch diameter sieves, lid and receiver.

Flakiness Gauge is used to determine if aggregate particles are to be considered fl aky, i.e. their thickness is less than 0.6 of their nominal size. Length Gauge classifi es aggregate elongation by measuring the length of individual particles. Aggregate particles are considered elongated when their length is more than 1.8 of their nominal size. Length Gauge test is not applicable to material retained on 63.0 mm BS test sieve.

Flakiness Sieves are used to determine particle size shape or geometrical characteristics of the aggregates. Each sieve made from heavy gauge steel sheets in dimensions specified in the standards and coated with electrostatic paint.

The Flame Photometer is a device used in inorganic chemical analysis to determine the concentration of certain metal ions, among them sodium, potassium, lithium, Barium and calcium. In principle, it is a controlled flame test with the intensity of the flame colour quantified by photoelectric circuitry. The instrument is fitted with automatic flame failure detection for user safety, making it ideal for use in laboratory, industrial sites and educational applications.

The Flow Table test is used for determining the consistency and workability of fresh concrete. The conical mold for casting the flow specimen and the calliper for measuring the diameter of the mortar after it has been spread on the flow table. Comprises: The apparatus consists of a double steel table, the upper table measuring 700x700 mm and hinged at one side to the lower table. The top table is inscribed and all parts are protected against corrosion. The stainless steel cone has a top of 130 mm dia., base of 200 mm dia. and highest of 200 mm. Supplied complete with wooden tamping rod.
